Platinum Plus Now Scheduled for Saturday, July 10

Have you been missing Platinum Plus? It’s back on this schedule this month at Sterling on Saturday, July 10 at noon.

Platinum Plus is our 75-minute take on the intermediate hot yoga series, and it combines postures you would practice in the 26/2 of the beginner’s sequence, intermediate Ghosh postures and others similar to vinyasa or yin.

Don’t be intimidated by the word “intermediate.” Every pose has steps you work on as you progress. We do recommend that you have practiced the 26/2 sequence before taking this one.

We’re excited to offer this 75-minute combination of postures, which include the 26/2 of the beginner’s sequence, intermediate Ghosh postures and others similar to what you would practice in vinyasa or yin.

You don’t have to even consider yourself an “intermediate” yogi to take this class. All you have to do is TRY!

We recommend that you have practiced the 26/2 sequence for a minimum of three months before taking this class. This class is offered for a $10 drop-in rate.

Fascia Release Workshop Scheduled Saturday, March 10

Are you looking for a way to improve postural balance and help prevent injury?

Or maybe you’re a beginner and feel like your entire body feels sore and stiff and you are simply looking for a new way to find relief?

Join Manja on Saturday, March 10 from Noon – 2 p.m. for a fascia release workshop.

Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds the muscles and envelops every part of the body, and injury, trauma, inflammation or poor posture can cause it to tighten.

This workshop is designed to provide you trigger point self-massage and myofascial stretching techniques to help you relax muscles, reduce pain, improve range of motion and much more.

All levels are welcome to attend. No prior knowledge required. All props provided. Cost is $25 per person. Sign up at the studio or by clicking here.

Don’t feel like you have to be advanced to take this class. Just as in all of our other classes, the most important thing is to show up and try!

We recommend that you have practiced the 26/2 sequence for a minimum of three months before taking this class. Your next chance to try  Platinum Plus will be Saturday, March 31 at Noon. This class is offered for a $10 drop-in rate.

Sterling members, bring friends! Even if you’re not a Sterling member right now (or don’t know one), the class is FREE so come on and make new friends!

Yin and Meditation 90 Minute Class Sterling Hot Yoga MobileDo you ever feel like 60 minutes of yin just isn’t enough? If so, we’ve got a special class you’ll definitely want to take!

Join us for 90 MINUTES of yin and meditation on Sunday, Jan. 14 from 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. Enjoy the benefits of more time to improve your flexibility and the challenge of maintaining your stillness, breath and mental focus even longer!

This extended version of yin and meditation is an excellent way to set your intention for the new year.

If you have blocks, bolsters or a blanket you’d like to bring to class, please do as props we provide may be limited due to attendance. We can’t wait to experiment with this new format and share it with you!

Slow Flow Vinyasa Class on Wednesday Mornings

If you’re looking to add another vinyasa class to your routine, remember there is an unheated, slow flow class on Wednesday mornings at 8 a.m. This is an all-levels class led by Manja, who guides you as you develop strength, improve balance and enhance flexibility.

This class is offered for a $10 drop in rate, so this class is open to the public. No Sterling membership or package is required to attend. Please support this class to ensure it continues to be available on our schedule!
