What year did you first start practicing yoga?
Was there any particular reason you started practicing yoga?
I started practicing hatha yoga with my father. He taught me how to practice the poses, autogenic training with hand-warming techniques, progressive muscle relaxation – and as a little girl, I was simply fascinated by the many ways one could bend and twist the body.
Favorite posture and why?
Too many to list; it depends on daily fluctuations.
Why do you currently practice this yoga?
To stay sane, to keep body and mind healthy, to deepen my spiritual practice.
What do you love about teaching yoga?
Guiding others to more mindful living.
Two things most people don’t know about you?
I’m a mom, cancer survivor, author, and trained pyrotechnician.
