What year did you first start practicing yoga?
I first started seriously practicing in 2016, after the birth of my second daughter.
I suppose I didn’t realize what it was at first, but now I realize I was craving focus and strength. I desperately needed an outlet where I literally couldn’t do anything but be present—I found that in my vinyasa practice. It was (and still is!) so addicting! I also found it in Inferno Hot Pilates classes. You are so in the moment (20 seconds at a time!) and barely hanging on—talk about pushing your strength (both mental and physical) to the limit!
Favorite posture and why?
I love flowing from Extended Side Angle to Bird of Paradise. I also love arm balances!
Because it makes me feel amazing!

What do you love about teaching yoga?
I was pleasantly surprised stepping to the other side of the Inferno Hot Pilates podium. Teaching has taught me more about my own goals, practice and motivation than I could have ever dreamed. Watching students getting stronger and more confident in themselves and their true strength is one of the most motivating things I have ever experienced.
Two things most people don’t know about you?
I lived in Los Angeles, CA for 11 years, working in the entertainment, music and technology fields.
I am the most Alabama person ever. I had my second baby in the car—on the side of Interstate 10!
