Our first Yin + Yoga Nidra class was a big hit, and several of you asked almost immediately when we would offer it again. We’re excited to offer this very special 90-minute combination of yin yoga and yoga nidra class on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 4:30 p.m.
Once again, the first 60 minutes of class will combine the longer held postures of the yin class you know and love, followed by a 30-minute yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep.
Yoga nidra is a form of meditation that has been proven to activate the relaxation response, which helps improve the functioning of the nervous system and endocrine system. It’s also been proven to help lower blood pressure and cholesterol.
